My NFS Role: My career at Nichols Financial Services as a tax preparer and Insurance CSR began in September 2006. I was brought in with 10 years of tax preparation experience. Having both tax and insurance experience under my belt has made me more versatile and I am better able to service our clients’ needs. Though I mainly work at our Sodus location, I can also be found in Newark at least twice a week. I am fast at putting names with faces and that means I am able to service our clients on a more personal level. Fast, friendly and professional service, along with my charismatic personality, makes for a great relationship with our clients.
Personal Background: I have been married for 2 ½ years and my husband and I have 8 children combined. When we are not tied up with sporting events and other activities with the children (which doesn’t happen often) we enjoy just being home and spending time together as a family.

Title: Office Manager & Payroll Specialist
Education: I have my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Medialle College.
My NFS Role: I began my career at Nichols financial Services in December 2005. I started in the front as the receptionist and have grown to become the office manager and oversee all aspects of NFS. I am the go to person for any payroll needs in the payroll department as well. I have taken the Bryant and Stratton Property and Casualty course and in the process of obtaining my license but my heart and soul is with the accounting and payroll aspects of Nichols Financial Services.
Personal Background: I have two children, KaRay and Kara, who keep me very busy with their sports and school activities.
Hobbies/ Outside Interests: Besides my children my other true passion is coaching cheerleading. I have been coaching for 9 years ranging from the youth program with the JR Lyons Lions to the Varsity level with Lyons High School.

Title: Front Desk Reception / Customer Service
Education: I completed a medical secretarial program at Bryant & Stratton and worked in that field until my employers’ retirement in 2008.
My NFS Role: I have worked at Nichols Financial Services since June 2010 and like the vast variety of “jobs” it holds. While holding the “hot seat” position, I take client payments; answer the multi phone calls that come in for an agent, or people wanting auto or home quotes, taking auto changes through dealerships or individuals, typing up ID cards. Doing the basic office duties as well as anything else that others in the office may need help with.
Personal Background: When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my children, cooking and doing crafts.

Title: Licensed P & C and Life Insurance Agent
Education: I was born and raised in Newark. I Graduated from Newark High School/Mercersburg Academy in 2000. I attended school at Michigan State University majoring in Accounting. I completed pre-licensing courses with Bryant and Stratton in Rochester and Syracuse NY.
Community Service: I am a member of the Newark and Seneca County Chambers.
Hobbies & Outside Interests: I am a Volunteer Firefighter/Scuba Diver with the Red Jacket Fire Department in Seneca Falls.
Personal Background: I live with my wife, Natasha, in Seneca Falls. We like to spend time outdoors with our dogs, hiking, camping, disc golfing, scuba diving and with the Fire Department.

Experience: Six years of international accounting with Garlock/Colt Industries, 30 years of tax, accounting, and payroll experience, 25 years of personal and business insurance experience in Property/Casualty and Life. I also taught as an adjunct professor of accounting for 20 years at FLCC and was an associate professor of accounting for 5 years at Hobart William Smith College.
My NFS Role: To oversee the day to day operations of all phases of Nichols Financial Services.
